Saowaluk was diagnosed with stomach cancer in August. The oncology team at Nakhon Ratchasima University Hospital has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Saowaluk is 34, worked as a nurse until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Nakhon Ratchasima University Hospital 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Scans and lab work: $240
• Household costs while unable to work: $370

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Saowaluk.
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. chemotherapy and medication not covered is the biggest at $1,200. Fair thing to want to know.
