Archie is my three-legged dog of thirteen years. On 2 August we rushed to Onitsha Veterinary Centre with kidney failure. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $100. They have stabilized Archie, but the treatment can't wait beyond October. Archie is more than a pet - Archie is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $40 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Onitsha Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Archie's recovery.
