Nur's final semester of a computer science degree in Bandung
Nur has worked and saved for five years to study a computer science degree; a $900 gap now stands between her and graduation.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a computer science degree at Bandung State College, and I'm one term away from graduating. I have worked as a library assistant to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $900.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a distinction average, and my department head has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Bandung State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $900 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $370
• Final term tuition: $450
• Exam and lab fees: $20
• Textbooks and materials: $60
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
- due date
- 2025-07-12
- bill type
- University tuition

hope it all works out, Nur. I hope things turn around soon. We're a small family in Pune but we're thinking of you. Take care.
wishing you the best, Nur. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Put this on a community board in Varanasi this morning.
