Need strong backs and a van: moving Adrian to safer housing
Moving day on Wednesday: we need a few strong people and ideally a van.

After my landlord sold the building, I found a safe, affordable apartment in San Francisco, and the lease starts on Wednesday. I have my elderly father, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for a few strong people for about four hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the second floor and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.

So sorry you're going through this. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 18 years in nursing I know how hard it is to ask for anything.
