I make my living with my school-run minibus. 12 weeks ago the radiator and cooling system failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $200. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my 4 children. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $200 goes: • radiator and cooling system replacement (parts): $95 • Labor charges: $35 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $40 • Towing and inspection: $30 With deep gratitude, Nenita

Updates from Nenita

  1. Quick update: $69 raised so far (35%). we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.

  2. Wanted to say thank you properly. 25% funded and I met with the mechanic and confirmed the amounts.

  3. Update from Caloocan: the plan for labor charges is now scheduled. We're at 14% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
