Ngozika's stage 2 breast cancer treatment fund
Ngozika is facing stage 2 breast cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Ngozika was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in March. The oncology team at Lagos Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in June. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Ngozika is 29, worked as a taxi driver until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Lagos Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $250
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $65
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $985
