My tuk-tuk: Satoshi's only way to earn a living
Without my tuk-tuk Satoshi cannot work; a $400 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my tuk-tuk. 12 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $400. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $400 goes:
• Towing and inspection: $85
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $90
• Labor charges: $225
I hope life is good to you.

shared it with a few friends. Wish I lived closer to Townsville so I could bring a meal.
thanks for sharing this, Satoshi. I hope things turn around soon.
Hope the shop reopens soon. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Nagoya
Keep going, Satoshi. Hope the shop reopens soon
Gave what I could, wish it was more. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Thinking of Nagoya
