For three years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Sycamore Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $300.
It will serve about 223 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $300 goes:
• Materials: $160
• Permits and inspections: $45
• Safety equipment and signage: $40
• Tools hire and delivery: $55
Glad we found this place.

Thinking of you. Shared this with my family. Wish I lived closer to Howrah so I could bring a meal. Take care
Rooting for you. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. Sent it to 6 people at work.
good luck. Shared this with my family. My neighbor in Utrecht donated after I showed her your page. Take care
