Help Seema restart a bicycle repair shop in Mumbai after the demolition of the market
Seema lost a full set of tools to the demolition of the market and needs $600 to reopen a bicycle repair shop and support the family.

For twelve years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Mumbai. In December, the demolition of the market took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $600 goes:
• Replacing a full set of tools: $300
• Initial stock: spare parts: $145
• Shop repairs and licensing: $75
• Working capital for the first month: $80
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
Updates from Seema
Wanted to say thank you properly. 14% funded and I made the first payment toward replacing a full set of tools.
Quick update: $82 raised so far (14%). the first invoice got paid this week. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
Update from Mumbai: we've started the first stage. We're at 8% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
