Keep the electricity and water on at Ajay's home in Vadodara
Ajay is behind on electricity and water bills after July's medical emergency and needs $150 to avoid a shut-off.

The electricity and water account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless I pay $150. I have never been late before July's medical emergency.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $25 first, which I don't have.
I live with a disabled brother, and going through summer without electricity and water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $150 goes:
• Gas arrears: $95
• Reconnection and late fees: $30
• Down payment on a payment plan: $25
