My taxi: Thomas's only way to earn a living
Thomas's my taxi is Thomas's only source of income and needs a suspension replacement costing $1,600.

I make my living with my taxi. 10 weeks ago the suspension failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,600. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,600 goes:
• suspension replacement (parts): $950
• Labor charges: $310
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $195
• Towing and inspection: $145
