Storm in Gwangju: help the Riverside settlement rebuild
After the storm, families in the Riverside settlement need clean water, roofing materials and bedding.

The storm hit the Riverside settlement on 28 May. My home was one of 84 damaged, and 5 families are still in temporary shelter at the local school gym.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $4,600 goes:
• Tools and labor for repairs: $1,250
• Food parcels for displaced families: $810
• Roofing sheets and timber: $2,100
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $440

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Yoon-ah.
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. tools and labor for repairs is the biggest at $1,250. I'll keep the page updated.
