My ride-share car: Courtney's only way to earn a living
Courtney drives for a living in Los Angeles, and a broken clutch assembly has stopped all income for 4 weeks.

I make my living with my ride-share car. 4 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,100. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my two daughters and my mother. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,100 goes:
• Towing and inspection: $150
• Labor charges: $430
• clutch assembly replacement (parts): $520
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Thinking of you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care.
Best of luck, Courtney. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like
