My delivery van: Fernando's only way to earn a living
Fernando drives for a living in Guarulhos, and a broken fuel pump has stopped all income for 10 weeks.

I make my living with my delivery van. 10 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $400. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $400 goes:
• Towing and inspection: $15
• Labor charges: $75
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $310
I hope life is good to you.

Hope this works out for you. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Love from Kadıköy
Hope things get better soon. This could happen to any of us. Put this on a community board in Nnewi this morning. Greetings from Nnewi.
Thinking of you. Hope you get there. I hope June is when things finally get easier. All the best
Wishing you the best, Fernando. This could happen to any of us
Wishing you peace. It takes guts to ask. Well done. After 28 years in logistics I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
