A skate park for the old Harmony bus depot: help our neighbors in Odesa

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 27 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Harmony bus depot, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $550. It will serve about 264 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $550 goes: • Materials: $320 • Permits and inspections: $80 • Safety equipment and signage: $65 • Tools hire and delivery: $85 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
