Moving day volunteers: Niluka's family relocating in Jaffna
Moving day on Tuesday: we need a few strong people and ideally a van.

After a break-in at the old place, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Jaffna, and the lease starts on Tuesday. I have three kids, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for a few strong people for about six hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has an elevator. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Good luck. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Love from Coventry.
You're not alone, Niluka. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Thinking of Jaffna.
Wishing you the best. Shared this with my family. All the best
