Moving day volunteers: Dinda's family relocating in Bekasi
Dinda has found a safe new apartment in Bekasi and needs help moving heavy furniture on Wednesday.

After mold in the old building became a health issue for my child, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Bekasi, and the lease starts on Wednesday. I have a teenager and a toddler, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for 3-4 helpers for about five hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the third floor with no elevator and the new place has just one flight of stairs. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Wishing you peace, Dinda. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better.
Hope it all works out, Dinda. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Sent it to 12 people at work.
Stay strong, Dinda. This could happen to any of us. I'll check back for the next update. Thinking of Bekasi.
Thinking of you, Dinda. Looking forward to the next update. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best.
Stay strong, Dinda. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best.
Keep going, Dinda. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
