Senthil's prostate cancer treatment fund

Senthil was diagnosed with prostate cancer in January. The oncology team at the Howrah Oncology Institute has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in March. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Senthil is 41, worked as a nurse until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Howrah Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
