Mobility fund: adapted tricycle for Émilie in Casablanca
An adapted tricycle would give Émilie independence - we're $1,350 away.
🇲🇦 Morocco1,118 views
Émilie lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at the Casablanca Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,350.
Her current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 8 weeks.
With the right equipment Émilie could speak with the people around her. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $1,350 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $70
• adapted tricycle: $1,200
• Fitting and training sessions: $80
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
