He has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $2,750. The registrar has said Marcos can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Marcos has a top-ten-percent average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Marcos would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Marcos isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Alcalá de Henares State College bursar's office.
