Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Corpus Christi
Volunteers in Corpus Christi are raising $4,050 for a rainwater harvesting system at the Sycamore community hall.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Sycamore community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $630, and the remaining cost is $4,050.
It will serve about 567 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.

• Tools hire and delivery: $420
