Let's build a skate park together in Tokyo
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a skate park - we need $3,550 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 11 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Pioneer vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $3,550.
It will serve about 423 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Safety equipment and signage: $260
• Tools hire and delivery: $500
