Standing with Lorenzo: acute lymphoblastic leukemia treatment costs
Lorenzo is facing acute lymphoblastic leukemia and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Lorenzo was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in April. The oncology team at the Denver Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Lorenzo is 35, worked as a shop owner until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Denver Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $7,650 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $5,750
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $550
• Scans and lab work: $1,350
