Yard rescue for Seyi, 75: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Garden rescue day in Badagry: bring gloves and a rake.
🇳🇬 Badagry, Lagos, Nigeria1,427 views
I'm 75 and I have lived in this house in Badagry for 46 years. After the storm in May, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
