Let's build a skate park together in Laredo
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a skate park - we need $2,650 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Baobab vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $2,650.
It will serve about 538 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $2,650 goes:
• Materials: $1,500
• Permits and inspections: $330
• Safety equipment and signage: $400
• Tools hire and delivery: $420
