Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Prayagraj
A community-led a rainwater harvesting system at the Baobab health centre yard that will serve 470 neighbors.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 25 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Baobab health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $700.
It will serve about 470 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $700 goes:
• Materials: $510
• Permits and inspections: $20
• Safety equipment and signage: $50
• Tools hire and delivery: $120
