Let's build a rainwater harvesting system together in Hồ Chí Minh City

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Unity Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $450. It will serve about 549 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $450 goes: • Materials: $310 • Permits and inspections: $20 • Safety equipment and signage: $50 • Tools hire and delivery: $70 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
