Let's build a covered market stall space together in Cape Town
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a covered market stall space - we need $1,150 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 16 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Cedar bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $200, and the remaining cost is $1,150.
It will serve about 594 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• Materials: $880
• Permits and inspections: $55
• Safety equipment and signage: $65
• Tools hire and delivery: $150
