Saif is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a law degree at the Savar Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $500.
The registrar has said Saif can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Saif has a 3.8 average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Saif would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Saif isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Saif.
Final term tuition is $230 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. I'll keep the page updated.
