Legal fees for Valentina's citizenship application in Toronto
Help Valentina cover the fees of a citizenship application so She can stay with her family.

I'm facing a citizenship application. My hearing is scheduled for December, and the filing fees and the lawyer's retainer come to $3,750. I have been told by three legal-aid offices that their waiting list is longer than my deadline.
I have all of my paperwork ready, and my caseworker at the Toronto Community Legal Centre has confirmed that my case is valid.
If I miss the deadline I could lose my right to stay with my family and my job. My children were born here and this is the only home they know.
I'll share any non-sensitive updates as the case moves along.
The money goes to the immigration attorney's trust account and the court filing office. I'll upload receipts with sensitive details removed.
Where the $3,750 goes:
• Attorney retainer: $2,750
• Filing and biometrics fees: $770
• Certified translations and document copies: $110
• Court-appointed interpreter and travel: $120
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Hope things get better soon, Valentina. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Blessings

Thanks for sharing this, Valentina. Shared it with a few friends. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Toronto
Keep going, Valentina. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best.
Wishing you peace, Valentina. I hope things turn around soon. I hope December is when things finally get easier
Hang in there. Hope you get there. My neighbor in Gothenburg donated after I showed her your page.
