Kreesan wants to stay at home - help fund eight months of care
Kreesan, 94, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $1,000 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my father, who's 94. After a fall and hip fracture Kreesan can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Kreesan desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Kreesan worked all of his life as a schoolteacher, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.

• Part-time carer (eight months): $760
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $110
• Medication and prescriptions: $130
