Leeds
I earned a place in Form 4 at the Leeds Selective School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the graphic design course, and a uniform. My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $700, which is more than we have. I love graphic design and want to become an engineer. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard. I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything. Where the $700 goes: • Textbooks and workbooks: $240 • Laptop: $310 • School uniform and shoes: $150 I hope life is good to you.

It's all in the list in the story. textbooks and workbooks is the big one at $240, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Thanks for looking so closely.

    • Sending strength, Isaiah. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn.

        • Wishing you peace. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.

          • Sending good thoughts, Isaiah. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I went through something like this 2 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Leeds!

Hang in there. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Greetings from Thane.
