The water account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless I pay $750. I have never been late before an unexpected car repair. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $125 first, which I don't have. I live with three children under ten, and going through winter without water isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here. Where the $750 goes: • Electricity arrears: $310 • Reconnection and late fees: $145 • Down payment on a payment plan: $295 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it. - Naomi

36% there. I made the first payment toward electricity arrears. Thank you.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($302 in total) we've started the first stage. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
