The water account is 4 months behind. Michelle received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless $800 is paid. She had never been late before my partner leaving the household. Michelle called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $200 first, which isn't available. The household includes a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through summer without water isn't safe. The children would have no light to study by. Michelle is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
