Valérie is behind on electricity bills after a reduction in hours and needs $750 to avoid a shut-off.

The electricity account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on May unless I pay $750. I have never been late before a reduction in hours.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $75 first, which I don't have.
I live with three children under ten, and going through winter without electricity isn't safe. The children would have no light to study by.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
