Get Cynthia back on the road: my pickup repair fund
Cynthia drives for a living in Dallas, and a broken rear axle has stopped all income for 4 weeks.
🇺🇸 Dallas, Texas, United States1,398 views
I make my living with my pickup. 4 weeks ago the rear axle failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,450. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my family of five. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $1,450 goes:
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $290
• Towing and inspection: $90
• rear axle replacement (parts): $1,070
Every share and every dollar helps.
