Keep a roof over Boris's head in Saint Petersburg
A final eviction notice arrived last week. Boris needs $1,150 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Saint Petersburg.

After a car accident that kept me from work for 5 weeks, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Monday a final eviction notice was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $1,150.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by November, we must leave.
I have three school-aged children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working evenings as a cleaner, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• Rent arrears (3 months): $890
• Late fees and court costs: $60
• Utilities in arrears: $45
• First month of rent as a buffer: $155

how is Boris doing now?
Hope it all works out, Boris. I hope things turn around soon. Wish I lived closer to Thủ Đức so I could bring a meal. Blessings.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Greetings from Rio de Janeiro.
Sending strength, Boris. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Put this on a community board in Kampala this morning. Thinking of Saint Petersburg
