We lost everything in the wildfire: help the Millbrook neighborhood start over
Neighbors in the Millbrook neighborhood are rebuilding after the wildfire; every contribution goes to materials and supplies.

The wildfire hit the Millbrook neighborhood on 7 August. My home was one of 90 damaged, and 8 families are still in temporary shelter at the community hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $1,950 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $1,250
• Tools and labor for repairs: $490
• Food parcels for displaced families: $210

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Barış.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. roofing sheets and timber comes first ($1,250) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Let me know if you want more detail.
