Jenny needs a lift to the Manila Kidney Centre - can you help one day a week?
A rota of drivers to the Manila Kidney Centre would keep Jenny on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.
🇵🇭 Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines987 views
Jenny has been on dialysis for 1 years and until recently drove to the Manila Kidney Centre alone. After a minor stroke, Jenny can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 25 km each way.
Jenny is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
- effort
- one weekly trip
- format
- In person in Manila
- skills
- reliable car, clean driving record

I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. We're a small family in San Diego but we're thinking of you
Gave what I could, wish it was more. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Manila.
thinking of you, Isabel. Shared it with a few friends. I have a 13 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Love from Wrocław.
Good luck, Isabel. I hope things turn around soon. Blessings
Rooting for you. This could happen to any of us. Thinking of Manila.
