Jaxon's valve repair surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
Jaxon needs valve repair surgery at Manukau Orthopedic Institute and the family is $6,300 short of the hospital's estimate.

Jaxon was diagnosed with a hernia that has become strangulated in August. The surgeon at Manukau Orthopedic Institute recommended valve repair surgery, and He is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $9,000, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $6,300 short.
my husband has been in and out of Manukau Orthopedic Institute since August. The doctors say a hernia that has become strangulated will get worse without valve repair surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $9,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Jaxon struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Jaxon won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
