Henry needs an adapted tricycle that the health system will not fund; the cost is $2,950.

I live with multiple sclerosis. My occupational therapist at Parramatta General Hospital has assessed me and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,950.
My current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment I could join the school sports day. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $2,950 goes:
• adapted tricycle: $2,300
• Fitting and training sessions: $160
• Delivery and set-up: $180
• First-year servicing plan: $310
