Jameson needs a lift to the Toronto Kidney Centre - can you help one day a week?

A rota of drivers to the Toronto Kidney Centre would keep Jameson on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Jameson has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to the Toronto Kidney Centre alone. After surgery on their hand, Jameson can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 29 km each way. Jameson is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
