Winter coats and boots for 7 children at the Baobab Family Centre in Galway
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at the Baobab Family Centre.

I coordinate donations at the Baobab Family Centre in Galway. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Galway, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Baobab Family Centre on Wednesday between 9am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Baobab Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Hope things get better soon. It takes guts to ask. Well done. After 21 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Bristol.
Sending strength. Hope this works out for you. Please keep us posted. Love from Salem.
reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I hope August is when things finally get easier. Take care.
Keep going. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. We're a small family in Houston but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Galway.
Thanks for sharing this, Colm. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Galway
Sending good thoughts. Shared it with a few friends. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
