Jakarta Selatan flood relief - the Harbor district
After the flood, families in the Harbor district need clean water, roofing materials and bedding.

The flood hit the Harbor district on 14 July. My home was one of 89 damaged, and 5 families are still in temporary shelter at a mosque and church hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.

• Roofing sheets and timber: $640
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $145
• Tools and labor for repairs: $215

So sorry you're going through this, Winda. This could happen to any of us. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
