Help Francisca move out of an unsafe apartment this Sunday
A short, concrete way to help: a few hours of lifting and loading in Curitiba.
🇧🇷 Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil530 views
After the rent increase, I found a safe, affordable apartment in Curitiba, and the lease starts on Sunday. I have two children, a few pieces of furniture and no money for movers.
I'm hoping for four volunteers for about five hours. If you have a van or pickup, that would help enormously - I'll cover fuel.
The old place is on the second floor and the new place has just one flight of stairs. We'll do it in two trips. Lunch and cold drinks are on me.
I know this is a lot to ask of strangers. I'd be happy to share references from my landlord and my employer.
Thanks for being kind about this.

thinking of you and your family, Francisca. Shared it with a few friends. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best.
Praying for you, Francisca. It takes guts to ask. Well done.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Curitiba.
stay strong, Francisca. This could happen to any of us. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
Hope things get better soon, Francisca. Hope you get there. It's not much but it's yours.
