Back-to-school fund for Kato
Help Kato begin Grade 9 with a laptop, uniform and books.
🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya814 views
I earned a place in Grade 9 at Nairobi Boys' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the coding course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $160, which is more than we have.
I love coding and want to become an engineer. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $160 goes:
• Laptop: $105
• School uniform and shoes: $30
• Textbooks and workbooks: $20
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

The list at the bottom is the whole picture. laptop is the biggest at $105. Ask me anything else.
You're not alone, Kato. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. God bless.
wishing you peace. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn!
Wishing you the best. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Love from Epe.
