Help keep a free food pantry open for elderly neighbors in Kyiv.

Since 2021, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Friday from the back of a community center. We started with 26 families, and now we feed 84 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 37% this winter, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 16 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Kyiv market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $300 goes:
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $175
• Refrigeration and electricity: $85
• Baby formula and diapers: $40
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

I hope things turn around soon. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Blessings.
How is Veronika doing now?
Wishing you peace, Veronika. Shared it with a few friends. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best
Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. I hope October is when things finally get easier.
you're not alone, Veronika. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Greetings from Wollongong.
