My son Danish has been accepted for treatment at the Lahore Cancer Centre in Lahore, starting on Saturday in August. We live 512 km away in a rural district, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 6 weeks. Two of us would stay: Danish and me. We can contribute $20 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Danish will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Hang in there. Shared this with my family. Take care

    • So sorry you're going through this, Rukhsar. This could happen to any of us. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home

Sending strength, Rukhsar. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes

        • Gave what I could, wish it was more. I have a 8 year old who wants to send good wishes too. All the best

          • Rooting for you. Shared it with a few friends. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Munich.
