Is there an electrician who can donate a few hours in Belfast?
Joyce has dangerous exposed wiring in two rooms, and can't afford a licensed electrician to fix it; a few hours of professional help would make the home safe.

In July an inspector told me that my home has dangerous exposed wiring in two rooms. It's a safety risk for me and my two small children. The landlord has refused to act, and quotes of $2,350 are beyond us.
I'm looking for a licensed electrician who may be able to donate a few hours or do the repair at cost. I can cover the parts, which I estimate at $190.
The job should take about six hours. I'll make sure someone is home and will provide refreshments. I can share the inspector's written report on request.
If you're an electrician and can help, or know a program that assists with this sort of repair, I'd really appreciate it.
I hope life is good to you.

This could happen to any of us. My neighbor in Kazan donated after I showed her your page. God bless.
Keep going, Joyce. Hope you get there. It's not much but it's yours.
Stay strong. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. After 20 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Love from San Jose.
best of luck. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too.
