The Unity vacant lot needs a skate park - Lilian's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a skate park - we need $550 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 27 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Unity vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $185, and the remaining cost is $550.
It will serve about 486 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in May and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $550 goes:
• Materials: $380
• Permits and inspections: $45
• Safety equipment and signage: $60
• Tools hire and delivery: $65
